Ornamental Floral Design Workshop
Motivated by a deep curiosity to explore the evolution of floral design across cultures and centuries, Negin has traveled to the UAE, Lebanon, India, and Turkey, tracing the threads that connect these rich ornamental traditions. She has also contributed to the field by leading workshops on Iranian painting techniques, including Iranian floral design and manuscript illumination (Tazhib).
Her research and practice have led her to discover the profound dialogue between Eastern and Western decorative arts — from the intricate geometry of Persian illumination to the flowing botanical ornament of the Italian Renaissance grottesche, and the organic abstraction of Art Nouveau. What unites these traditions across time and geography is a shared belief: that drawing from nature, with patience and intention, is itself a form of meditation.
In her workshops, Negin invites participants to step into this living tradition — not to copy it, but to find their own voice within it.
